DFW Boat Ride
If you want to experience Lake Ray Hubbard in a whole new and exciting way, consider a DFW boat tour. The boat you’ll board is a 75-foot watercraft with a protected inner deck and a fully exposed upper deck with picnic tables. No matter where you stand or sit, you can enjoy this beautiful lake and all the attractions along the coast. Downstairs is air-conditioned, so it is best suited for warmer afternoons and people with a more sensitive body. Get there early so you can quickly explore the nearby Rockwall Harbor Lighthouse.
Excursions available range from day options to Harbor Lights sunset cruises starting at 6:30pm. If you have a special occasion coming up like a birthday, bachelorette party, or family reunion, you can conveniently book your own seat. These are usually available during the day, as public boat trips take place in the evenings. Although DFW Boat Ride served dinner in the past, they do not currently offer this service. You are completely allowed to bring your own picnic gear and drinks. Every cruise is BYOB, but they offer soft drinks, juices, water and ice on board.
